Yup, 10 hours from now, I'll be on my way home. I can only start to describe how much I'm looking forward to this trip home.
Sure, I don't usually go back during recess week since it's usually filled with activities, like make-up lectures, Sava Sprints (an international dragon boat race for the uninitiated), and mid-term exam prep. But somehow all my lecturers this semester apparently cherish their recess week as much as we do, and all of them made it a point to finish their syllabus on schedule; Sava Sprints was last week; and I have NO midterms! YAY! ( courtesy of the slackest department in the whole of the engineering faculty - though it remains to be argued whether this is such a good thing after all : so much weight being put on finals ).
Well, let's just take one victory at a time and let others worry about their future while I'm busy loving my life ;)
Currently listening to Bonnie Tyler's "Holding out for a Hero", while watching clips from "Short Circuit" and "Short Circuit 2".. wonderful, wonderful movies - they really bring back memories of my childhood and how I was, in a sense, inspired by Johnny 5. Perhaps it was then that in my little heart I knew I want to be a hero, a worshiper of courage and defender of ideals.
Managed to stumble upon some clips of the 3rd season of "Ed" - a tv series I've been following for almost 2 seasons. Ed and Carol are finally together..wheee.. I feel like crying already..
"You are right. The girl I fell in love with in high school was that girl in the blue sweater with white criss-crosses down the sides who I've never talked to. That's why I chose to be with Frankie.. but a funny thing happened... Everywhere I looked, I see US, laughing, crying, arguing.. then I realize... I love YOU - everything about you now."
T.T boohooohhooo
For all those who has never seen the series before (that's most of you all out there) and have not the faintest idea what I'm talking about -- I'm sorry. You'll never understand. Just let me share in their joy for a bit now... T.T boohooohhooo

Completely weird, but I swear I stumbled on this site looking for Ed pics on google image search. I'm designing covers for the dvds I put together.
The weird part? I just watched Short Circuit (Amazon unbox has it for $.99, I couldn't resist.) When have those two ever gone together? Chocolate and peanut butter they ain't.
